The board and staff of GIFT are thrilled to announce that the Arcus Foundation approved our recent grant proposal! The Arcus Foundation gave GIFT a grant of $55,000 for 2010 and 2011. The new grant will be for $60,000 for 2012 and 2013. The purpose of the grant is to fund the continued planning, launch, and ongoing implementation of the “Gay Christian? Yes!” Campaign.
The Campaign is a collaborative project of GIFT, area churches, other organizations, and individuals. Its mission is to promote the full inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and allies in Christian churches and other faith communities.
Please join us in this Campaign! Most importantly, we need your prayers. We also need many volunteers and a great deal of financial support. The Arcus grant covers only a portion of the total costs of the Campaign.
